I greatly enjoyed being there, the place is great value and brilliant.
Everything in this fairly clean hotel was first-class. Great staff was always available with my requests. The idea to include an electric kettle and refrigerators in the budget double room was nice. The location was marvellous and brilliant, within walking distance of Maiden Stone.

good ensuite bathroom/shower, central location, reasonable pricing
The steep steps leading to the front door could be a serious issue for anyone with mobility challenges!!! The hotel's somewhat neglected appearance on the hotel side is a bit off-putting!!!

The staff were cute. Plus, the meals were delicious, especially the local favorites that many regulars seemed to enjoy.
My wife says that the breakfast area could be better suited for families, as it felt a bit crowded with pub-goers.
